Sales Strategy & Business Development
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company revenue and growth targets for Agro products (e.g. Agri Commodities).
• Analyze Global and Local Market trends, consumer demand, and competitor performance to identify new business opportunities.
• Set annual and quarterly sales targets, prepare forecasts, and monitor progress against objectives.
• Identify potential export markets, buyers, and distributors to expand international market presence.
• Conduct market research and feasibility studies to assess market potential, pricing competitiveness, and customer preferences. Sales Operations & Team Leadership
• Supervise the entire sales process from lead generation to delivery ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and timely customer service.
• Conduct regular team performance reviews, provide training and guidance, and implement performance improvement plans.
• Visit key domestic and export markets to evaluate distributor performance and strengthen customer relationships.
• Support the sales team in negotiation, contract management, and deal closure with both local and international clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, wholesalers, and international buyers. Export Management & Compliance
• Manage all export operations including L/C and T/T transactions, export documentation, shipment scheduling, and coordination with logistics partners.
• Liaise with banks, C&F agents, freight forwarders, insurance companies, and relevant government authorities to ensure smooth export activities.
• Ensure compliance with all export regulations and international trade requirements.
• Monitor international trade laws, tariffs, and certifications related to Agro Product exports.
• Maintain accurate Export Documentation and ensure timely shipment and payment realization. Cross-Functional Coordination
• Collaborate with the Supply Chain, Commercial and Production teams to ensure product availability and timely dispatch based on export schedules.
• Work with the Finance and Costing team on pricing, margin analysis, and cost evaluation of raw material and freight costs.
• Coordinate with Quality Assurance and R&D teams to ensure that exported products meet the required quality standards and customer specifications.
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business Administration or International Trade.
• 6–8 years of relevant experience in Sales and Export of Agro Commodities or processed agricultural products.
• In-depth knowledge of International Trade Procedures, Export Documentation, and L/C management.
• Proven track record of developing new export markets and achieving sales growth.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English for dealing with international buyers and trade partners.
