Job Description
1. Manufacturing Leadership
- Provide overall leadership to all company Foods Division factories, ensuring alignment with business strategy and objectives.
- Set operational goals and performance standards for each factory to deliver on productivity, cost, and quality targets.
- Drive manufacturing excellence through Lean, TPM, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.
2. Operational Excellence & Productivity
- Ensure effective utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials to maximize output and efficiency.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for production, capacity utilization, OEE, wastage, downtime, and cost.
- Implement automation and digital manufacturing solutions to boost efficiency and competitiveness.
3. Quality, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to quality, food safety, and regulatory compliance across all plants.
- Establish robust safety practices to create a zero-incident culture in factories.
- Conduct periodic audits and enforce corrective actions where necessary.
4. Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Champion innovative and creative ideas to optimize processes, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
- Lead productivity-enhancement projects and technology adoption initiatives.
- Promote a culture of problem-solving and innovation at all levels of manufacturing.
5. People Development & Culture
- Lead, mentor, and guide Factory Heads and their teams to build high-performing operations.
- Invest in training and skill development of the workforce to ensure long-term capability building.
- Uphold a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement across all manufacturing sites.
Additional Educational Requirements
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Production, Operations Management, or related field.
Minimum 18–20 years of experience in FMCG manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role managing multiple plants/factories.
Proven track record in driving operational efficiency, productivity improvement, and people leadership.
Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Six Sigma, and modern manufacturing technologies.
